In The City

I played electric guitar and mandolin in In The City from 2013 through 2020. Playing, writing, and performing with my talented friends Ashley Jane and Timon Wientzek, and the many wonderful musicians they surround themselves with was a joy for me.

On 2016’s debut EP Changing Tides I play guitar, mandolin, and bass. I also co-wrote and co-produced.

On 2019’s EP MaryAnn I contributed electric guitar and mandolin and co-wrote the songs Every Single Day and By Your Side.

I’m proud that In the City’s music has been featured and played in rotation on CBC Radio, as well as a number of Canadian TV Series’ including Saving Hope, Heartland, Workin’ Moms, Hudson & Rex, Kim’s Convenience, and The Wedding Planners.

Westpoint

(2000-2008)

Westpoint was a five-piece rock band first formed in high school with my friends Dan and Jeff. We recorded and performed from 2000-2008 and our journey culminated with the release of 2008’s Goodbye Rocket. I play lead guitar on the record and am credited as a co-producer and co-writer.

My fondest memories of Westpoint are our Canadian tours, opening for April Wine at the CNE, and producing Goodbye Rocket with Haydain Neale and Joel Kazmi.

Paul Price & The Company

(2009-2014)

I started playing music with my good friend Paul Price around 2009 as part of his live band.

As Paul and I’s partnership developed over time, we evolved the project in to Paul Price & The Company, and co-wrote, performed, and co-produced 2012’s Better Days.

We continued to play around Toronto and the GTA until 2014, when Paul relocated to Australia.

My fondest memories of PP & Co are recording Better Days at Chalet Studios, doing an East Coast tour of the US with Paul, and our residency at The Firkin on King.

Monique Angele

Monique is a talented vocalist and pianist with distinct operatic, theatrical, and piano-rock sensibilities. I had the pleasure of producing and mixing her 2014 self-titled EP. She has since re-located to Australia and continues to write, record, and perform her music.
